These terms are a contract between you and Lawless, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Lawless", "we"). They cover uselawless.com, the Priorbit database and its tools, and anything you connect to them. By creating an account or connecting an AI app you accept them. If you use Priorbit for an organization, you confirm you may bind it.

Priorbit returns records from the US Patent and Trademark Office and other public sources, with each record's source and date, so that an AI agent can search and cite them.

• Priorbit is not legal advice. Results are research leads for you and, where it matters, your attorney. A search that finds nothing does not mean nothing exists. Status, ownership and expiry are read from the record as of the date shown and can change.
• Lawless is not your law firm, and using Priorbit does not create an attorney-client relationship.
• Coverage is listed on the documentation page; anything not listed there is not covered.

You may not:

• resell Priorbit or offer it as a service to others without a written agreement;
• copy the database in bulk, or use it to build a competing database;
• circumvent credit, rate or lookup limits, share accounts, or use automated means other than an AI app acting on your own behalf;
• use Priorbit to harass, defame or unlawfully surveil anyone;
• attempt to access data belonging to other accounts.

The public records Priorbit returns belong to the public. The software, search methods, playbooks and this website are Lawless's. You keep any rights you have in what you submit (your questions, product descriptions and listings); you give us the licence needed to process them and return results to you.

Priorbit is in beta. We work to keep it available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service and we may change or remove features. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where practical.

Priorbit is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lawless disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Public records contain errors; verify anything you rely on against the official record linked in each result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lawless is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from or related to Priorbit, however caused. Lawless's total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid Lawless in that period, or US$100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where that is the case they apply only as far as the law permits.

You will defend and indemnify Lawless against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your use of Priorbit in violation of law or the rights of others.

You may close your account at any time from the account page or by emailing zhiyuanren@uselawless.com. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections on ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, the party raising a dispute will give the other 30 days to resolve it informally.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use Priorbit after that date means you accept the new terms.
